Finally ready to try lash extensions for the first time, but isn't sure how to prepare?
It's a must to know how to have a comfortable experience! Below, I have the 5 most important tips for preparing for your lash extension appointment.
#5. Come with a clean face
Before your appointment, remove any makeup applied near or on your eyes. This is because lash extensions can only attach to clean, natural lashes.
Additionally, it is recommended that you avoid wearing strip lashes for a day or mascara for a couple of days before your lash appointment to prevent stubborn residue.
#4. Use the restroom
Do you tend to drink a lot of water or dislike the need to use the restroom while sleeping?
When having a lash appointment, it's best to go before to avoid any disruptions during the application.
Come a couple of minutes early if needed :)
#3. Avoid caffine
Are you a coffee lover?
If so, be aware that consuming too much caffeine can cause jitters and even make your eyes flutter. This can be quite unpleasant, especially if you're trying to relax during an appointment.
To avoid this, it's best to avoid coffee and energy drinks a few hours before your appointment.

I know there are many options out there to choose from, so I recommend narrowing down your favorites to two.

It is important to wear comfortable clothes during the 1-3 hour session of lying down.

Here are three hairstyles that you should avoid: high buns, low ponytails, and low buns.
